With the success of the SchottGunn and the AK-47 applications I developed, I decided it was time to make a hand gun this time around. I'm a fan of the Ruger-SR9 so I figured that was going to be the one I would use for this next app. I started working on it a couple of days ago, and it is getting really close to being released. In the mean time I thought I would show a few images of the application thus far as well as a downloadable preview of the app before it hits the market. A brief description on how to use it follows the screenshots below. BTW, those of you who have used the AK-47 app, may recognize the sounds used in this one. Please keep in mind that these are only placeholders at this moment in time. I am working on getting sounds that suit this particular firearm better.

Installing the application from here and how to operate.
First thing you need to do is make sure you have your phone set up to install applications from sources other than the Market. To do this go to your phone's settings, and under Applications make sure that Unknown sources is checked.

Once you have that set up, then all you need to do is download SR9.apk from your phone's browser, click on SR9.apk shown in your download list and choose Install. Once the installation is complete, you should see a screen that says Application Installed with a green checkmark to the left of the text. If not, then something went horribly wrong.

How to Use
The application starts out with a loaded clip already in the gun, you just need to cock it first. To do that, touch the slide of the gun, and pull it back till you hear a "click" then release your finger from the screen and the slide will snap back. The gun is now loaded, armed and ready to fire.
To fire the gun, you simply touch the trigger. Go figure! You have 18 rounds to unload, after that you need to remove the spent clip and insert a loaded one. To do that, touch the handle of the gun where the clip is located. The clip will drop out and a new one will be inserted in automatically. Now you just need to re-cock the gun and unload again.
